Central Heating

A well heated house is of prime importance particularly in the winter months. Gas central heating is one of the most cost effective ways of doing this. At Shalom Maintenance a significant amount of our jobs is regarding this very task.

Installing a heating system involved many components from the radiatiors and piping to the boiler, timer, themostatic tvr and gas supply. More often than not we are required to give the central heating system a power flush to rid it of sludge accumulated hindering it from performing to maximum efficiency.

We are often called upon to Install new Radiators, Boilers or simply to service either. As qualified Corgi Engineers backed with years of on the job experience we are qualified to completely overhall the system or to make minor adjustments or repairs. Some of the standard tasks we perform daily include:

• Complete Cetral heating install
• Changing radiator
• Convert old conventional system to modern combination boilers
• Convert old conventional system to system boilers
• installing instantaneous water heaters

Once any changes are made to your central heating system, we are required to inform corgi, who in turn informs your local building control. Building control we later send you a certificate confirming the changes.

Gas Fires around the house can contribute to the overall heating of the house. Although not as efficient as central heating, they are however esteticaly pleasing to the eye.

Boilers are the engine of the whole system. It is to the central heating system what an engine is to a car. Its primary aim is distribution and regulation of the system.
